Jamie Salter is the founder, Chairman and Chief Executive Office of Authentic Brands Group (ABG), LLC. Prior to ABG, James was the CEO of Hilco Consumer Capital Corp. (“HCC”) and he previously served as President of GSI Commerce.

For 30 years, Jamie has consistently generated strong returns for investors in numerous lifestyle and fashion brand related activities. James’s success encompasses the full spectrum of business activities. He has completed well over $5 billion of brand-related investments, which have included both growth companies and turnarounds. His record of outstanding performance is a clear demonstration of his ability as a visionary to recognize value and seize opportunity.

Currently, ABG owns more than twenty global consumer brands divided into four major categories: Sports, Men’s Fashion, Women’s Fashion and Celebrity. The brands include: Spyder, Prince, Ektelon, Viking, TapouT and Sportcraft in Sports; Hickey Freeman, Hart Schaffner Marx, Bobby Jones and Sansabelt in Men’s Fashion; Juicy Couture, Judith Leiber, Adrienne Vittadini, Taryn Rose and Misook in Women’s Fashion; and; Marilyn Monroe, Elvis Presley and Muhammad Ali in Celebrity.

Additional brands that Jamie has controlled or partnered with during his career include Ride Snowboards, Volant Ski Company, LTD Snowboards, Lamar, Ultra Wheels, Hespeler Hockey, Tommy Armour Golf, Ram Golf, Airwalk, VisionStreet Wear, Sinister, Iron Star, Hitman, Silver Star, House of Marley (Bob Marley), Caribbean Joe, Halston, Ellen Tracy, Sims, Linens ‘N Things, Bombay , Sharper Image and Polaroid.


Nick Woodhouse

President & Chief Marketing Officer

 

Nick Woodhouse is the President and Chief Marketing Officer of Authentic Brands Group, overseeing the company’s global sales, marketing and digital media strategies, as well as ABG’s strategic planning and execution that will deliver both short and long-term company goals and objectives.

 

With over 27 years of experience in the retail industry, from Buyer to Vice President, Nick Woodhouse experienced first hand the challenges and rewards of growing a Canadian sporting goods retail icon – Forzani Group Ltd, from $55 million to $1.7 billion in annual sales.

 

Nick created and drove the “360 degrees of success” model, which reinforces retail fundamentals and demands all aspects of project management and execution to work cohesively in order to succeed.

 

Nick currently sits on the advisory board of LIM College in Manhattan – devoted exclusively to the business of fashion.

Terri L. Dipaolo

Chief Operating Officer
& General Counsel

 

Terri's legal background includes positions such as in-house counsel for Lion's Gate Films' music division, General Counsel for The Estate of Bob Marley, and associate positions at premier entertainment law firms: Fischbach, Perlstein & Lieberman, LLP and Manatt, Phelps & Phillips, LLP.

 

Terri graduated from Northeastern University with a BA in Political Science and obtained her JD from Whittier Law School. She is admitted to practice law in California and New York.

Kevin Clarke

CFO

 

Kevin's investment banking experience includes over twenty years working with companies in a variety of industry sectors. Most of his investment banking experience was spent at Bear Stearns & Co., where he was a Senior Managing Director and Head of Healthcare Mergers & Acquisitions.

 

Most recently, he was the Chief Financial Officer of Kos Pharmaceuticals, a publicly-traded specialty pharmaceutical company that was sold to Abbott during his tenure for $4.3B.

 

Kevin holds an MBA from Cornell University and a BA from Le Moyne College where he served as a member of the Board of Trustees.

Kenny Finkelstein

CEO of Knight's Bridge Capital Partners

 

Kenny Finkelstein, CA, is the President and Chief Executive Officer of Knight’s Bridge which he and Counsel Corporation founded in November 2006. Mr. Finkelstein has a long and successful history of investing in, providing ongoing management, guidance and mentoring of portfolio entities, and delivering effective exit strategies.

 

Prior to founding Knight’s Bridge, Mr. Finkelstein co-founded and managed Gen-X Sports Inc., a diversified sporting goods company that owned multiple brands, including Lamar, LTD Snowboards, Tommy Armour and Ram Golf, Tear Drop and Zebra Putters, Ultrawheels in-line skates, Hespeler hockey, and Volant Ski Company. Mr. Finkelstein was also a co-founder of Lifestyle Brands Ltd., a company whose strategy was to acquire, for the purposes of creating a royalty stream, brands that needed revitalization. The company was successful in creating a significant royalty stream and was sold to Payless Shoes.

 

As CEO of Knight’s Bridge, Mr. Finkelstein, applies his extensive expertise in working closely with management of its portfolio companies, helping them formulate and meet proper targets and goals.

Michael Kirton

Vice President at Leonard Green & Partners

 

Michael joined LGP as an Associate in 2007. Prior to joining LGP, Michael worked in the Investment Banking Division of Credit Suisse in their Los Angeles office as a Generalist.

Michael presently serves on the Board of Directors of David's Bridal, Inc.

He earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Honors Business Administration from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario.

Jonathan Seiffer

Partner at Leonard Green & Partners

 

Jon joined LGP in 1994. Previously he worked in corporate finance at DLJ in Los Angeles.

Jon presently serves on the Board of Directors of AerSale Holdings, Inc., Authentic Brands Group, BJ's Wholesale Club, Inc., Motorsport Aftermarket Group, Savers, Inc., Scitor Corporation, The Sports Authority, Inc., The Tire Rack, Inc., and Whole Foods Market.

Jon has served on the Board of Directors of Arrow Group Industries, Inc., Big 5 Sporting Goods Corporation, David's Bridal, Inc., Diamond Triumph Auto Glass, Inc., Dollar Financial Group, Inc., Gart Sports Company, Liberty Group Publishing, Inc., Varsity Brands, Inc., and White Cap Industries, Inc.

He earned a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in Systems Engineering and a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics from the University of Pennsylvania.

Usama Cortas

Usama joined LGP as an Associate in 2003. Prior to joining LGP, Usama worked in the Mergers and Acquisitions and Retail/Consumer Products Groups in the Investment Banking Division of Morgan Stanley in their New York office.

Usama currently serves on the Board of Directors of Authentic Brands Group, CCC Information Services, Inc., The Sports Authority, and Tank Holdings Corp. In addition, Usama is actively involved with LGP’s investments in Jetro Cash & Carry, Leslie’s Poolmart, Neiman Marcus Group, The Tire Rack and Whole Foods Market, and was previously involved with LGP's investments in Rand McNally, Scitor Corporation and White Cap Industries.

Usama earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics-Political Science from Columbia University.
