WWD: Nautica, Flipkart Sign Deal For India

Nautica is on its way to India.

Authentic Brands Group, owner of the Nautica brand, has signed a deal with Flipkart Group, India’s leading e-commerce marketplace for licensing and distribution rights in the country, which is owned by Walmart Inc.

“Nautica is currently experiencing tremendous growth. To accelerate that momentum, we needed to align with a premier partner. Flipkart Group is the undisputed fashion market leader in India, providing Nautica access to over 160 million consumers across Flipkart, Myntra and Jabong,” said Jamie Salter, chief executive officer of ABG.
